Our Client Dogs.

We have had an excellent opportunity to work with many wonderful clients, and they showed a lot of progress throughout their time here. A few dogs come back for additional training or a tune-up before the next season. Here at WSK, your not just a client; you're a part of the family. I tend to have a limit of dogs in for training to ensure each dog gets multiple sessions a day. We pride ourselves on also working with the owners and showing you how to continue training with your dogs when they leave. We love to keep all owners in the loop with videos and pictures of your dog's progress with us.

“I took my 11-month-old lab to Jake to tune him up for the upcoming hunting season and to say I’m impressed is an understatement. He was with WSK for a month and at the end of that month we took him to his first hunt tests and he passed them no problem. Without WSK he would have never gotten that far. Today we just took him on his first goose hunt and he did fantastic. WSK made my dog into an amazing one. None of this could have happened without them.”

“We brought our 6-month-old black lab to WSK. The change we have seen after only 3 weeks of training is truly remarkable. Major has learned almost all Basic obedience plus has a good head start on waterfowl retrieves. Jake has great patience and an extensive base of knowledge coupled with upfront honesty. When it comes to training your dog I truly believe he is among the best. We can’t wait to see what the next round of training brings out of our dog.”

We sent our 9-month-old silver lab to Jake and could not have been more pleased. Our plan was to reinforce basic obedience, introduce gunfire and birds.

Jake was awesome from day 1. Kept in communication and promptly answered all messages and calls we made to check-in. He sent videos and updates that keyed us into Remi’s progress.

After 2 weeks I met with Jake and Remi to see his progress and was amazed how far Remi had come in 2 weeks.

We wanted to be sure Remi was our family dog 1st and hunter 2nd. Jake had Remi in his own home to help with the family dog side of things. Remi previously slept in a kennel at night but now we trust him in our room. Dominance issues with our other dog have subsided and our home is what we hoped for with two dogs after this training .

At the end of week 4, I was again super amazed at Jakes’s progress with Remi. This visit was the return home visit.

Jake and I spent a good amount of time going over what the training methods were, what to expect upon getting home, and how to reinforce/ continue training.

Jake offered to help should I be unsure how to continue or if we needed anything

We got Remi home and didn’t let him fall into his old habits and used the training Jake taught me.

For the first 6 months of Remi’s time with us, we struggled with his behavior and training. After 4 weeks with Jake, Remi is a different dog and we are excited to see just how far Remi will go!!!

Thank you for your help and I know we will be using Jake as a resource and recommending him to anyone who asks.

Jake is an amazing trainer!! He has been working with my daughter’s 10-month-old lab on basic obedience the last two weeks and he has successfully trained him already to place in our house ( super helpful when company comes over, as he no longer is jumping upon them). He has him walking on a leash and heeling in addition to training him to be off-leash and not running away and actually listening. . He is a completely different dog and it is truly because of Jake!! Not to mention that you truly look forward to seeing Jake everyday and learning new things. I fear that he will be very sad when his month of training is up. If you are looking for a caring, trusting, trainer that really will treat your dog like his own give Jake a try!!!”
